The Order of Lafayette has had the honor to annually recognize the cadet chosen for their 'Exemlary Francais' at two distinguished schools: The US Military Academy aka West Point since 1963 and The Military Academy of South Carolina aka The Citadel beginning in 2009.

Preserving History for Future Generations
Together with noted author and Order of Lafayette guest speaker, Harlow Unger, The Order sponsored the conservation of the painting General Lafayette by John Ward Dunsmore.
